What you learned: Navigating around the Adobe Aero workspace
- The Aero home screen gives you access to cloud Aero documents, your recent files and your deleted files. It is also where you can create or open existing Aero scenes (.real files).
- The Edit mode is where you craft and create your augmented reality scene by importing assets, adding interactivity, and creating behaviors.
- The Preview mode is a way to preview the AR experiences and see how your scene all works together with interactive and animated elements including triggers, behaviors, and sounds.
- Share your AR experience using the Share icon in the upper right of the Aero screen. You can share your experiences as a QR code, link or as the native Aero .real project format.
- Behavior Builder is where you create customizable triggers and actions to make your augmented reality experience interactive.
- The Scene Graph lists all the objects in the scene and allows you to select objects easily and to view, hide, lock and rename those objects.
- The Properties panel is where you can use a numerical value to change the position, rotation or scale of an asset in your scene. It is also where you can change an object’s pivot point.
Pro tip
- Working on a desktop or laptop allows for more canvas space and can help make setting up a scene easier. Many creators may start by setting up their scenes on their computer and then move to their mobile device to refine and test the mobile AR.
