Reading this article on an iPad? Install Tutorial Player for Photoshop.
Are you new to Photoshop? Do you get stuck using tutorials? Do you have trouble fitting everything on your screen? If so, the Adobe Tutorial Player for Photoshop is for you. Tutorial Player for Photoshop is an interactive iPad app that tracks your progress as you complete tutorial steps in Photoshop. It helps when you get stuck, and can even control Photoshop from your iPad.
1. Open Photoshop CC.
2. Choose Edit > Remote Connections from the menu bar. This dialog box was modified slightly in the latest Photoshop CC update, so it's possible that your screen doesn't match the image exactly.
3. Select Enable Remote Connections.
4. Specify a server name (for example MyPSServer) and a password.
Write down the IPV4 address, if displayed. You could need it later, depending on your wireless network settings.
5. Click OK.
6. Restart Photoshop.
To control Photoshop from the iPad, make sure that both devices are on the same wireless network.
Once Tutorial Player connects to Photoshop, choose a tutorial. When the tutorial starts, you can do the steps yourself (Tutorial Player scrolls automatically, as you complete each step). Or, you can tap the Show Me button to watch the tutorial unfold in Photoshop.
