Swap a clip without losing your edits or timing in Premiere on iPhone.
If you want to update a project with a different photo or video, you can replace a clip while keeping the same position and duration on the timeline. This saves time and keeps your edit intact.
In the bottom toolbar, tap Replace.
Your photo library opens with a banner at the top showing Replacing: [clip length].
Select a new photo or video:
- If the replacement is the same length or longer, tap Next in the top-right corner to confirm.
- If the replacement is shorter, you’ll see an error message asking you to pick a file that matches or exceeds the original clip length.
