Adobe cloud storage data centers

Adobe cloud storage is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) through continuously active data centers in multiple geographic locations.

All data centers are highly available, resilient, and can withstand system or hardware failures with minimal impact.

Each data center runs on a distinct and independent infrastructure that is designed to ensure business continuity during an outage. If a disruption occurs, traffic is routed to other data centers outside the disruption zone.

The information about data centers and associated disaster management procedures can help you make commercial decisions about hosting service providers. As an account admin, you can also set up organization-wide security and compliance parameters for cloud services available in your region.

Adobe maintains regional disaster recovery plans for each data center with accompanying documentation. It includes an annual run book that outlines all the steps required to complete a data center failover to another cloud region. Adobe also strives to achieve the following disaster recovery parameters for Adobe cloud platform customers:

  • Recovery point objective (RPO): The amount of data that could be lost during disaster recovery. The amount of time between data protection events determines this metric. The RPO for Adobe Cloud platform is two hours.
  • Recovery time objective (RTO): The time required to recover from a data-loss event and how long it takes to return to service. The RTO for Adobe Cloud platform is eight hours.
