Migrate existing flows
Learn how to migrate your existing flows.
You can update or transition your current workflows in Power Automate to use a new type of authentication method. This involves creating a new connection using the OAuth method and then updating your existing flows to use this new connection for all actions, ensuring that the workflows continue to function correctly with the updated credentials.
You can either migrate existing JWT Service Account Credentials to Oauth Server-to-Server credentials or create new Oauth Server-to-Server Credentials.
Create a new Power Automate connection using the Oauth Server-to-Server credentials.
Optionally, to edit the connection name, select the name and then select Edit.
Open your flow and select the newly created connection for all your actions.
If you have a large volume of data, you can export your flow and import it. During the import process, select the connections for all the flow’s connectors. This will update the connections for all actions simultaneously.
It migrates your existing workflows in Power Automate to use a new authentication method for all actions.
