Adobe released updates that introduce new features for Adobe Creative Cloud customers. These feature updates are exclusively available for Creative Cloud customers. Products that aren't licensed with a Creative Cloud subscription don't appear in Adobe Update Manager.
The following types of customers have access to the new feature updates:
- Creative Cloud
- Team Ready
- Creative Cloud for Team
The follow updates contain new features and are only available for Creative Cloud customers.
- Dreamweaver 12.1 Build 5949
- Illustrator 16.1.0
- Photoshop 13.1
Windows
- Launch the product.
- Choose Help > About.
- Make sure that the version number matches the Creative Cloud products with feature updates version numbers above.
Mac OS
- Launch the product.
- Choose [Product name] > About.
- Make sure that the version number matches the Creative Cloud products with feature updates version numbers above.
- Launch the product.
- Choose Help > Deactivate.
- Creative Cloud Membership appears after the Subscription Manager link; along with a list of additional product licensed with this method. If a point product or suite name appears instead, your product is not licensed using your Creative Cloud Membership.
Note: Creative Cloud customers can fix this problem using the section Fixing licensing for Creative Cloud customers. Leave the Deactivation window open if it's necessary to fix your licensing.
- If correct, click Cancel.
- Launch the product.
- Unless the Deactivate screen is already open, choose Help > Deactivate.
- Verify that the Creative Cloud Membership does not appear after Subscription Manager link and click Deactivate.
- Close all Adobe products.
- Launch the product.
- At the trial screen, click License This Software.
- Sign in with your Adobe ID associated with a Creative Cloud Membership.
- Exit the product.
- Relaunch the product.
The update is now available in the Updates menu. Confirm the installation by Verify that the product feature updates are installed.
