Adobe has partnered with select retailers on a new process for retrieving serial numbers for perpetual license products, subscriptions, and Creative Cloud. When products are scanned at checkout and purchase is complete, retrieval of the serial number becomes available.

A redemption code is a unique alphanumeric 24-character code that is printed below the peel-off sticker on the reverse side of the product box or under the scratch-off foil on a keycard. You use the redemption code to retrieve your serial number.
Contact your store if your product is missing the redemption code sticker.
The redemption code is present:
- On a sticker on the back of your product box
- On an insert within the DVD media case
- Under the scratch-off foil on a keycard.
If your product has a sticker on the back of the product box, it could look like the following:

After redeeming the redemption code, if a serial number is not displayed, you can proceed directly to the download button. Adobe made the installation process simpler wherever possible. So, a serial number appears only if it is required for your product’s installation.
Peel off the sticker on the back of the box, find the insert within the DVD media case. Or, remove the scratch-off foil on the keycard to reveal an alphanumeric 24-digit redemption code.
Navigate to the website as instructed and enter the redemption code and retrieve your serial number.

What do I do if my redemption code is not working, my box is damaged, or I cannot find my serial number?
If you continue to face issues with your redemption code, issues with the box, and so on, and can't retrieve your serial number, contact Adobe support.
You can retrieve the serial number as many times as necessary. However, the most effective method is to register the serial number so that you can retrieve it later.
