Learn how to view augmented reality in Aero player (beta) on Android.

The Adobe Aero Player (Beta) app on Android allows anyone to view and interact with AR experiences made with Aero and shared via an Aero link.

View from Home or Discover screen

Aero Player (Beta) launches on a gallery of curated Augmented Reality content from Adobe Behance. 

To view content, simply scroll to the appropriate item and tap on the Behance project  image.

To launch the augmented reality experience, tap the Ar  button as shown.

Anchor your experience to the world

Follow the on-screen prompts to anchor your experience to the world.

Steps for surface-based experiences: 

  1. First find a surface with a texture to place your experience on. Natural textured surfaces often work better than surfaces which are plain, single colored, shiny, or patterned. 

2. Tap to anchor your experience in place.

Now your experience is anchored you can interact with it by moving closer to the content or tapping items interactively.

Open experiences from shared links or QR code

The Aero Player (Beta) on Android can open all creations created by Aero. 
The Aero creation tools can share links to Augmented Reality experiences. These can be shared on the web, via messaging apps, inside applications or as digital or printed QR codes.

Trigger a shared AR link using a QR code on Android

The Camera app on any Android device can be used to  scan QR codes. Open the camera app and point  your  camera at the QR code and follow the prompts to follow the link.
