Tap on the clip you want to freeze in the timeline.
Scroll through the toolbar at the bottom of the screen and tap Retime > Freeze.

The frozen frame is added as a separate clip, four seconds long by default, but you can adjust its duration as needed. Freezing also splits the original clip at the playhead position.
Move the playhead to the frame you want to freeze and tap the clip in the timeline.
