Connect and trim paths using the Join tool

The Join tool lets you connect nearby paths at their intersection point, trimming excess lines from overlapping paths.

Intersecting paths and small gaps are modified using the join tool.

  1. Select the Join   tool.

  2. Draw a line to connect the ends of two paths at their point of intersection.

  3. Drag over the overlapping paths to trim the excess portions.
