Uninstall the existing version of RoboHelp from your computer.
- Go to Control Panel > Program and Features.
- Locate Adobe RoboHelp in the list of installed applications.
- Right-click Adobe RoboHelp and click Uninstall.
You can upgrade your Adobe RoboHelp to the latest version (2017 release) if you have an active subscription of Adobe RoboHelp.
Uninstall the existing version of RoboHelp from your computer.
Ensure that both the files (.7z and .exe) are saved in the same folder.
If you do not save the files in the same folder, an error message appears during the installation. For example, "Windows cannot open this file" or "The file archive part of Adobe [product name] is missing."
Double-click the .exe file from the saved folder and follow the onscreen instructions.
Sign in using your Adobe ID that you used to purchase the RoboHelp subscription.

After successful validation of your Adobe ID, proceed further with the onscreen instructions to install RoboHelp.
