Adobe Fill & Sign app retirement
The Adobe Fill & Sign app has been retired and no longer receives updates or support. To continue using Fill & Sign features for form-filling and signature workflows, switch to the Acrobat Reader Mobile app.
The Acrobat Reader Mobile app offers all the familiar Fill & Sign features and more, providing an enhanced experience.
Select Download Acrobat Reader Mobile and follow the onscreen instructions to install the app.
Switch to the Acrobat Reader Mobile app
Switch to the Acrobat Reader Mobile app for a more powerful PDF experience:

The Adobe Fill & Sign app is now retired, and your files may no longer be accessible. Ensure you have moved your files to avoid any loss.
Migrate your Fill & Sign documents
Before the Adobe Fill & Sign app is retired, we suggest that you migrate your important documents using any of the following ways:
- Share documents: You can use the Share tool to directly open your documents on the Acrobat Reader app. The sharing tool can also be used to share documents via Airdrop, Messenger, Social Media, Email, and Notes apps.
- Upload to Adobe cloud storage: You can access your 'Fill & Sign' app documents from the Acrobat Reader app. You must use your 'Fill & Sign' app credentials to sign in to the Acrobat Reader app to be able to access the cloud documents on the Acrobat Reader app.
share your fill & Sign documents
For iOS users
Step 1: For the file you want to share, slide from right to left and select Share.
Step 2: From the sharing dialog, scroll down and tap Open in Acrobat.
Step 3: Once the file opens in the Acrobat Reader app, select Fill & Sign from the bottom toolbar. Using the tools in the bottom menu, you can fill in the required fields and add a signature.
For Android users
Step 1: Tap the document that you want to share, and then from the top menu, tap icon.
Step 2: On the sharing dialog, select Adobe Acrobat Reader app icon. It takes you to the Acrobat Reader app.
Step 3: The shared document opens in the Acrobat Reader app. Select Fill & Sign tool to continue filling and signing your document.
Upload to adobe cloud storage
For iOS users
Step 1: For the document you want to upload, swipe from right to left and select More.
Step 2: From the dialog that appears, select Upload to Document Cloud.
Step 3: Verify the status of a document from the displayed icon.

For Android users
Step 1: Tap the document that you want to upload, and then from the top menu, tap icon.
Step 2: When you view an uploading notification, wait for the upload to finish.
Step 3: Verify the upload. A cloud icon on the document confirms that the document is uploaded to Adobe cloud storage.
Access cloud files on the Acrobat Reader app
Step 1: On the Acrobat Reader Mobile app, go to Files and select Adobe cloud storage.
Step 2: From the list of files on the Adobe cloud storage, locate your ‘Fill & Sign’ file and select to open it.
Step 3: Once the file opens in the Acrobat Reader app, select Fill & Sign from the bottom toolbar. Using the tools in the bottom menu, you can fill in the required fields and add a signature.
Your Fill & Sign app data and assets won't be automatically migrated to the Acrobat Reader app. You must upload your Fill & Sign app documents and data to the Adobe cloud storage to be able to access from the Acrobat Reader Mobile app.
There's no automatic way to migrate your data. If you want to retain your documents, transfer the documents manually to your personal storage.
The Adobe Fill & Sign app is now retired, and you may no longer be able to access your files and profile information.
Once you upload your Fill & Sign app data to Adobe cloud storage, the signatures and suggestions are synced to your Adobe account. You can reuse signatures and suggestions across platforms.
The September 2023 release of the Adobe Fill & Sign app will include the migration workflow.
Yes, when you download the Acrobat Reader Mobile app for the first time, you can sign in using your Adobe Fill & Sign app credentials.
