When working with cloud documents in Photoshop desktop or Photoshop for iPad, you may encounter the following issues or errors:
iOS, macOS, and Windows
You are in mainland China
Photoshop on the iPad and Adobe Creative Cloud services are available only in countries where Creative Cloud services are available. As a result, cloud document functionality is not available in mainland China.
Photoshop desktop Creative Cloud sync requires an update or is not running correctly.
See the solutions listed below.
To check for pending updates to Creative Cloud and update if required, quit Photoshop and do the following:
Select the Account icon in the upper right, and then select Preferences.
Does your screen look different? See instructions for the earlier version of Creative Cloud desktop app.
Select the Apps tab.
Do one of the following:
Want to revert to default app settings or keep the previous version installed? See Advanced options for individual apps.
If you've received your Adobe plan from a school or organization and if you don't see the above Auto-update option, your admin has disabled auto-updates in your school or organization.
If you're an admin in a school or organization, see how to manage auto-updates for your users.
When finished, select Done.
Your apps are automatically updated as new versions become available.
If you are still having issues and you have the administrator access to your machine, the following steps may address the issue:
Sign out of Creative Cloud within the apps preferences.
Quit the Creative Cloud desktop app from the apps preferences.
Using Activity Monitor (macOS) or Task Manager (Windows), ensure that the following two processes are closed: CoreSync and Adobe Desktop Service.
Navigate to the following path:
On Windows:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Sync
On macOS:
/Applications/Utilities/Adobe Sync
Rename the following folder CoreSync to CoreSync-OLD.
Restart your machine and follow above steps to update Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app.
