Learn how to create sequences and switch between them in Adobe Premiere to streamline your editing workflow.
Every Premiere project can contain one or more sequences, and each sequence in a project can have different settings. You can assemble and rearrange sequences in one or more Timeline panels, where the clips, transitions, and effects are represented graphically. A sequence can consist of multiple video and audio tracks running parallel in a Timeline panel.
Premiere allows you to specify the settings for each sequence, trim clips, and assemble clips in sequences.
To create a sequence, drag a clip from the Project panel to the New Item icon in the Project panel.
To add media to an existing sequence, drag a clip from the Project panel to an existing sequence on the timeline.
