Learn how to find specific sounds in your footage using media intelligence in Adobe Premiere.

Use media intelligence in Premiere on desktop to quickly search for specific sounds across your clips. Remove the tedium with new assistive AI updates that let you search for sound effects by simply describing them.

Open the Search panel by selecting the magnifying glass icon in the upper-right corner of the main Premiere workspace.

In the Search field, type keywords that describe the sound you’re looking for.

From the dropdown menu next to the Search field, select Audio instead of Everything. You can also search by Visuals, Metadata, or Text.

Review the search results to locate the track containing the audio you described.
