Sign out from the Adobe Muse application. To sign out, click Sign Out from the Help menu.

Issue
When you publish your site using the Publishing to Business Catalyst option, you see the following error:
"An unknown authentication error has occured using your Adobe ID (SHARED_UNKNOWN_ERROR)

Resolution
You experience this issue when Adobe Muse and the Creative Cloud Desktop application go out of sync. You may also experience this error if you sign out of Creative Cloud while working on Adobe Muse. In this case, if you do not see the Sign in window immediately, and if you continue to publish using Business Catalyst, you might see this error message.
Read on to know the resolutions for this issue:
Solution 1

Sign out from the Adobe Muse application -
Quit the Adobe Muse application.

Relaunch Adobe Muse and enter your Adobe ID and password when prompted.
Now try to use the Publish to Business Catalyst again.
Solution 2
If the issue still persists, perform the following steps:

Sign Out from Creative Cloud Desktop application.

Click on the gear icon at the right-side top. Select Preferences > General > Sign Out.
Sign out from the Creative Cloud application -
Quit the Creative Cloud application. Go to the following folder location:
- Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe
- Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Rename the OOBE folder to OOBE_old.

Launch the Creative Cloud application, and sign in with your Adobe ID and password.

Go to Apps tab and launch Adobe Muse.
Now try using the Publish to Business Catalyst again.
