Learn how to easily invite others to edit your cloud documents and access if from the Photoshop app on the desktop, iPad, or web, and the Creative Cloud desktop or web app.
Collaborating with fellow designers has never been easier. Now you can invite others to edit your Photoshop cloud documents.
The Invite to edit feature in Photoshop allows asynchronous editing where each collaborator can edit a shared cloud document, one at a time. If multiple people try to edit a shared cloud document simultaneously, a version conflict may arise. In this case, a conflict avoidance dialog will appear, suggesting you delay editing the document while someone else is editing or create a copy of the shared cloud document to proceed with editing.
Click the Share icon in the top right corner of the app.
To easily find the share option in Photoshop 23.2 and above, you will now see a big blue Share button in the top right corner of the app workspace.
If the document you want to share is stored on your computer, save it as a cloud document by clicking the Continue button under Save as a cloud document to invite people prompt in the Invite to edit dialog.
Add collaborators to the invitation by entering their AdobeID email addresses.
To ensure recipients can access and edit the shared file, be sure the AdobeID emails used in the invitation match their Photoshop, Creative Cloud desktop, and Creative Cloud web AdobeID.
Type an optional note to recipients under Write a comment box before sending the invitation.
Click the Share button to send your invitation.
You can now easily collaborate on your Photoshop cloud documents by inviting others to view and edit your document from your iPad.
Simply open a cloud document in Photoshop on the iPad and tap the Share icon in the top right corner of the app. Any document you create with Photoshop on the iPad is automatically saved as a cloud document, so you need not worry about saving your document as a cloud document first.
You can now proceed with the same steps as listed above for Photoshop desktop and send invitations to fellow collaborators while working with cloud documents in Photoshop on the iPad.
Photoshop on the web beta features are now available for testing and feedback. For help, please visit the Adobe Photoshop beta community.
Similar to Photoshop on the iPad, you can simply open a cloud document in Photoshop on the web beta and click the Share () icon in the top right corner of the app. By default, documents you create with Photoshop on the web are cloud documents.
You can now proceed with the same steps as listed above for Photoshop desktop and send invitations to fellow collaborators while continuing your work in Photoshop on the web.
After sending an invitation, you will see the names of recipients listed under the Members section in the Invite to edit dialog.
To leave the share when you no longer need access to a file, hover the cursor over your own name and click Leave. To remove another collaborator, hover the cursor over the name and click Remove. Also, collaborators cannot remove the owner of the shared document.
The invitation to edit cloud documents is accepted automatically. You can see the invitation via email and Creative Cloud desktop/web.
