Unable to generate Mobile App output from FrameMaker and RoboHelp

Issue

The Mobile App output generation fails in FrameMaker and RoboHelp 2015 release. This is because the publishing process uses a plugin that has been deprecated in PhoneGap.

Resolution

To resolve this issue in RoboHelp (2015 release), perform the following steps:

Download and extract the contents from the following .zip file:

Mpj2ResponsiveHelp.zip

The ZIP file contains the updated version of the Mpj2ResponsiveHelp.dll file.
Take a backup of the existing Mpj2ResponsiveHelp.dll file. This file is available at the following location:

<RoboHelp_install_location>\RoboHTML
Replace the existing version of the Mpj2ResponsiveHelp.dll file with the file that you downloaded in Step 1.

You can go ahead and create new projects. However, for existing projects, you must perform the following steps.
Perform one of the following steps:
- Create a new single-source layout for the Mobile App output in your project.
- Delete the <mobile_app_ssl_name>_config.xml file from your project and restart RoboHelp.
Generate the Mobile App output.

To resolve this issue in FrameMaker (2015 release), perform the following steps:

Download and extract the contents from the following .zip file:

Create a new publish settings (.sts) file.
Configure your Mobile App output settings.
Generate the Mobile App output.
