What is Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform Collaboration Starter?
Real-Time Customer Data Platform Collaboration Starter (“Real-Time CDP Collaboration Starter”) is a set of features designed to enable Customers to perform privacy-centric data collaboration. Real-Time CDP Collaboration Starter Customers can use the product through invitation by an Inviting Party that is a licensed Customer of Real-Time CDP Collaboration.

Entitlements
- Collaboration Credits
- Customer may use Real-Time CDP Collaboration Starter subject to the availability of Collaboration Credits licensed under an Inviting Party’s applicable Sales Order for one or more Collaboration Activities listed in the Inviting Party’s Real-Time CDP Collaboration Product Description.
- Real-Time CDP Collaboration Starter connection settings will clearly display the Collaboration Credit split for applicable Collaboration Activities, which will identify (i) the Collaboration Activity that the Collaboration Credit split is available for and (ii) the Collaboration Credit split between Inviting Party and Customer for such Collaboration Activity. Unit prices for Collaboration Credits are detailed in the applicable Inviting Party’s Sales Order, and the number of Collaboration Credits consumed for the applicable Collaboration Activity are detailed in the applicable Inviting Party’s Real-Time CDP Collaboration Product Description. Once both Customer and the applicable Inviting Party (Advertiser or Publisher, as applicable) have accepted such Collaboration Credit split within Real-Time CDP Collaboration Starter, Adobe may charge Inviting Party the applicable number of Collaboration Credits for the Collaboration Activity based on such agreed-upon Collaboration Credit split and Customer’s designated role (Advertiser or Publisher, as applicable).
Performance Guardrails
- Collaboration Starter Accounts. Customer is entitled to up to one Collaboration Starter Account.
- Collaboration Audiences
- As a Publisher or Advertiser, Customer is entitled to up to 10 Collaboration Audiences.
- Collaboration Identities
- As a Publisher or Advertiser, Customer is entitled to onboard a maximum of 50 Million Identities.
- Collaboration Audience Refresh
- As a Publisher or Advertiser, Customer is entitled to an audience refresh every 6 days.
- Collaboration Activation
- As a Publisher or Advertiser, Customer is entitled to activate to the Inviting Party only.
Static Limits
- Collaboration Audience activation can be executed by Customer every 24 hours at most.
- Customer may not activate a Collaboration Audience with less than 1,000 audience members.
Definitions
Advertiser means an Adobe customer that has designated its role as “Advertiser” in Real-Time CDP Collaboration Starter. Customer may be an Advertiser.
Collaboration Activation means securely sending audiences to Customer’s collaboration connections in Real-Time CDP Collaboration Starter or egressing audiences to external systems from Real-Time CDP Collaboration Starter.
Collaboration Activity means one of the activities listed in an applicable Inviting Party’s Real-Time CDP Collaboration Product Description, which may include [XYZ].
Collaboration Audience Insights means system-executed reports that show commonalities between selected Collaboration Audiences.
Collaboration Audience Management means the Real-Time CDP Starter Collaboration Activity to access, process, and make available current datasets for use in Real-Time CDP Collaboration Starter.
Collaboration Audience Overlaps means system-executed reports that show commonalities between selected Collaboration Audiences.
Collaboration Audience Refresh means system-executed refresh of onboarded Collaboration Data at a Customer-selected cadence.
Collaboration Credits means the metric licensed by Inviting Party in an applicable Sales Order and used to initiate and execute Real-Time CDP Collaboration Activities.
Collaboration Data means data that Customer makes available for use in Real-Time CDP Collaboration Starter. Collaboration Data is a subset of Customer Data.
Collaboration Identities means identifiers onboarded by Customer as rows of Collaboration Data.
Collaboration Starter Account means partitioned environments within a single license of Real-Time CDP Collaboration Starter, used to separate operations and data by business units, brands, and geographies.
Collaboration Measurement means executing Collaboration Activities in Real-Time CDP Collaboration Starter to generate campaign performance reports and insights.
Entitlements mean usage limits that are strictly monitored and enforced by Adobe. Should Customer exceed an Entitlement, Customer or the applicable Inviting Party may be obligated to pay overage fees or to license additional capacity.
Initial License Term means the first time Customer licenses Real-Time CDP Collaboration Starter and specifically excludes any renewals, amendments, and upsells.
Inviting Party means a licensed customer of Real-Time CDP Collaboration that has invited Customer to participate in data collaboration through Real-Time CDP Collaboration Starter.
Performance Guardrails mean usage limits that relate to the scoping of Customer’s proposed use case. Should Customer exceed a Performance Guardrail, Customer may experience performance degradation. Adobe will not be responsible for such performance degradation. Customers who consistently exceed a Performance Guardrail may elect to license additional capacity and avoid performance degradation.
Publisher means an Adobe customer that has designated its role as “Publisher” in Real-Time CDP Collaboration Starter. Customer may be a Publisher.
Record means an identifier, audience member, row of measurement data, and other similar Collaboration Data.
Static Limits mean usage limits that relates to the functional boundaries of Real-Time CDP Collaboration Starter. Customer may not modify Static Limits.
