Get inspired! In the Learn and Discover sections on Lightroom desktop, the For you tab displays guided tutorials and Discover edits based on the posts you like, recent editing activity, and people you choose to follow in the Lightroom community.

To explore this feature, follow these steps:

  1. Click Learn to view tutorials or Discover to see Interactive Edits by photographers in the Lightroom Community.

New profile for Apple ProRaw images

New in Lightroom desktop and mobile

Lightroom desktop and mobile now provide a new profile to support Apple ProRaw images. These images will now be imported using the new profile by default.

With this new support, the imported ProRaw images will better match the in-camera experience.

View combined notifications in the Activity panel

New in Lightroom desktop and mobile

The Activity panel in Lightroom desktop and mobile now combines the activity of people and shows them as notifications.

To view notifications:

  1. In Lightroom desktop or mobile, click the bell icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.

  2. In this panel, you can view the notifications when someone liked or commented on a photo in your shared album.

Easily mute settings of a specific panel

New in Lightroom desktop

If you want to see your edited photo without a specific panel's settings, this feature is for you.

Follow these steps to mute the settings of an Edit panel:

  1. In Edit, open the panel where you have made adjustments.

  2. Long-press the eye icon to view the photo without that panel's settings.

    Note:

    In Lightroom desktop, press and hold a panel's eye icon to temporarily mute its settings.

Lightroom desktop

In any view, click the Filter icon next to the Search bar. You can then view the filtering options such as Edited, Type, Keyword, and more. The Edited option is new where you can filter photos based on whether they were edited or not.

Lightroom for mobile (Android) 

In the Edit view, you can view a new dot icon below the panel's name after you make adjustments to the tools in that panel.
