Learn how to customize your viewing experience by changing the display themes in Adobe Acrobat.

Windows

Open Acrobat and select Menu > View > Display theme.

Choose one of the following themes:

  • System theme: This is the default theme. Acrobat follows your operating system’s theme. If you change the OS theme while Acrobat is open, Acrobat updates automatically.
  • Light grey: Displays all interface elements and the document background in light grey.
  • Dark grey: Reduces eye strain, improves visibility in low-light environments, and saves battery. This theme applies to the entire interface, including the top menu, context menus, scroll bar, and comments pane.
