Learn to check and identify fillable fields in a PDF using the Pan tool in Adobe Acrobat.
Drag the Pan tool over the form fields in the PDF. If the form contains fillable fields, the Pan tool will change to one of the following icons:
- I-beam: Allows you to type text in a text field.
- Pointing hand: Allows you to select an option or check a box.

If you use Acrobat 3D or Acrobat Professional, you can verify that a form is fillable by selecting the Form tool, which highlights any form fields.
