Photoshop and Illustrator options not available in the Tools menu and Place options

In Bridge CC 2015/CC 2017, the Photoshop and Illustrator options do not appear in the Tools menu and Place options.

• Tools > Photoshop and Tools > Illustrator options are missing.
• When you select any image, File > Place > In Photoshop and File > Place > In Illustrator options are missing.

This issue occurs in the following scenarios:

• When you are using CC (2015) versions of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator with Adobe Bridge CC (2017).
• When you are using CC (2017) versions of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator with Adobe Bridge CC (2015).
  

Solution: Update to the latest CC (2017) versions

To resolve this issue update Adobe Bridge, Photoshop, and Illustrator to the latest CC (2017) versions. For details, see Check for app updates.
