Request access to an Adobe product

Last updated on Nov 4, 2026

Request Adobe apps from your organization using Creative Cloud on the web, the Creative Cloud desktop app, or a link from your admin.

Your organization controls which apps and services you can request and how requests are approved. To request access, you need an Adobe account managed by your organization, and your administrator must enable the feature. If you don't have an organization-managed account, try signing in with your work email address. If your organization uses single sign-on, an account may be created automatically.

If you have multiple Adobe profiles, choose the profile for the organization you want to request access from. That profile determines which organization and administrators receive your request. Availability can vary across profiles because each organization controls its own settings. For help choosing a profile, see Manage Adobe profiles.

Where you can request access

Depending on your organization's settings, you can request Creative Cloud products through Creative Cloud or request a specific product from within that product. Supported request locations are:

Alternatively, your administrator can also send you a product access link.

Request access from Creative Cloud on the web

Sign in to Creative Cloud on the web using your desktop with the Adobe account from your organization.

Note

If you do not yet have an Adobe account with your organization, you may be able to create an account automatically with your enterprise email address by signing in via single sign-on.

Scroll to the Available by request section.

If you don't see this section or an option to request access, contact your administrator.

Find the app you need, and select Request access.

If you’re asked for a business reason, explain why you need the app, and then submit your request.

If your request is approved automatically, you’ll see a confirmation and receive an email when the license is ready. Open the app while signed in to the same organization profile you used to request it.

If your request needs review, it goes to your administrator. See Track the status of your request.

If your request is approved automatically, you’ll get an email when the license is ready. Install or open the app in the Creative Cloud desktop app while signed in to the same organization profile you used to request it.

If your request needs review, it goes to your administrator. See Track the status of your request.

Request access with a product access link

Your administrator can share a product access link for a specific product. If you’re eligible, the link automatically approves your access.

Open the link from your administrator.

Sign in with the Adobe account from your organization.

Wait while Adobe sets up your access. You can close the window or wait to be taken to the product page.

When your access is ready, you’ll receive an email if your administrator has enabled notifications. You can also check your Adobe account to see whether the license is available. Then open the app while signed in to the same organization profile you used with the link.

Note

If you see an error when trying to access the link, contact your administrator.

Track the status of your request

A request can be approved, denied, or pending:

  • Approved: The license is added to your Adobe account, whether it was approved automatically or by an administrator. You’ll get an email when it’s ready to use. Open the app while signed in to the same organization profile you used to request it.
  • Denied: You’ll get an email explaining why your request was denied. Please request the same product again and include a more detailed business reason.
  • Pending: A request waiting for administrator review stays pending for up to 60 days. You’ll get an email at 30 days to say it’s still pending, and again at 60 days when it expires. You can’t request the same product again while a request is pending. After it expires, you can submit a new request.

Approval exceptions

Different product approved. Your administrator may grant access to a different product based on your business needs.

No licenses available. If your request is automatically approved but no licenses are available, you'll receive an email explaining that licenses aren't currently available and that your administrator has been asked to make more licenses available. Wait until your license is ready before trying to use the app.
