Adjust trim and playback preferences

Learn how to set trim and playback preferences in Premiere Pro to customize your workflow.

Wskazówka:

To open the Preferences dialog box, select Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Premiere ProSettings (macOS), and select the category you'd like to change.

Set Trim preferences

The Trim Backward Many and Trim Forward Many buttons of the trim monitor let you move the trim points as required. In the Trim preferences dialog box, you can specify the number of frames the trim points will move in the Large Trim Offset field.

To loop playback around the playhead position instead of the entire edit point selection, enable Playhead position determines trim monitor loop playback in Trim preferences.

Set Playback preferences

In the Playback Preferences dialog box, you can select the default player for audio or video, set preroll and postroll preferences, and access device settings for third-party capture cards.
