Adobe Podcast FAQ

Adobe Podcast is a web-based tool that lets you record, transcribe, edit, and share crisp and clear audio – all in your browser.

Enhance Speech

Enhance Speech is language agnostic and does not generate or translate across different languages. The results often depend on the speaker's audibility and the amount of background noise. It’s important to note that clearer and more polished inputs (speaker pronunciation and enunciation) will produce better outputs. This tool enhances audio by filtering out noise and artifacts, adjusting pitch and volume levels, and normalizing the audio.

First, check the supported formats to ensure you uploaded an accepted file type. If that is not the issue, check the daily limits enforced by your current plan. You can do this by navigating to your avatar and/or initials in the top right corner and viewing Enhance Speech usage.

Studio

If your recording fails to upload after you end the session, you can try these steps to recover it:

  1. Close the project and the browser tab, and then reopen it. Our recovery mechanism will start when the project is reopened.

  2. If the recovery mechanism doesn’t work for any reason, please contact our team for assistance.

Adobe Podcast Studio lets you record remotely with others. The audio is recorded locally for each participant, and audio segments are uploaded in real time, ensuring your work is safe if the connection drops. Note that the audio that is recorded (and downloaded) is the original source audio, which differs from the streamed audio you'll hear in real time. Once your recording is finished, you can download the separate recording tracks for each speaker.

WAV format:

  • 48 kHz sample rate
  • 16-bit depth

You can access Adobe Podcast from https://podcast.adobe.com/.

Currently, we do not support speaker diarization. If you record using Studio, you can record high-quality multi-track audio. Each participant’s audio is captured on separate tracks, ensuring flexibility during the editing process.

Currently, you can only enhance at the project level.

You can do this by creating a project template, and it will create a copy of your original project. From there, you can edit and remix your project as needed.

  1. To create a template, navigate to the top right corner of the screen and select Share.

The Share icon available at the top-right of the screen enables you to share a template.

Troubleshooting

If you’re experiencing issues, try the following steps:

  • Check your internet connection.
  • Update your browser to the latest version and refer to system requirements.
  • Check Chrome microphone permissions.
  • If you're using browser extensions or VPN connections, you might want to temporarily disable them to avoid interference, as they can disrupt connections or cause conflicts.
  • If Adobe Podcast has been open in a browser tab for an extended period of time, try refreshing the page.
  • If you're hitting any feature limits, please check the daily limits enforced by your current plan.

If problems persist, contact our team.

If you’re encountering a Connection Failed message, follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Clear browser cookies. Try clearing your browser cookies and signing in again. Follow the instructions for your specific browser:

  2. Check browser extensions and ad blockers. Ensure that none of your browser extensions are causing the issue. Try removing any extensions that you recently installed, after which you started experiencing this issue, and then sign in again. Additionally, if you're using ad blockers, ensure you don't have any custom rules that are intercepting requests to Adobe.

  3. Verify VPN settings: If you’re using a VPN, it might be affecting your connection. Temporarily disable the VPN and check if the issue persists.

  4. Check firewall and network proxy settings. If you have configured firewalls and network proxies that block access to essential Adobe services, it can cause issues with Adobe Podcast.

  5.  Reach to our team. If this issue persists after trying these steps, and you're willing to meet with a member of the Adobe Podcast team to troubleshoot, please drop us a note here to connect with a team member.
