On Ubuntu, CentOS and RHEL, when executing ./cfinstall.sh, you may encounter this error:

This issue occurrs if you do not have the requisite executable permissions on the /tmp directory.

Solution:

Grant executable permissions on the /tmp directory.

If you do not have the exec permission on the /tmp folder, then run... If you have the exec permission on the /tmp folder, then run...
  1. mount -o remount, exec /tmp
  2. mount -o remount /tmp
  • mount -o remount /tmp

Retry the installation.
