Smart-ID

Overview

Smart-ID is a digital identity available to holders of national identity cards from Latvia, Lithuania, or Estonia as well as in 60+ countries with biometric-enabled identity documents. The Smart-ID service is provided by SK ID Solutions, an eIDAS certified qualified trust service provider (QTSP) since November 2018. SK ID Solutions is based in Tallinn, Estonia.

Using the Cloud Signature Consortium open standard, SK ID Solutions offers the following signing certificates via Smart-ID that work with Adobe Acrobat Sign cloud signatures:

• Qualified electronic signatures (QES)

For signers

Please note that when using Smart-ID to apply a digital signature in Acrobat Sign, signing certificate details captured in the document audit report will be provided by SK ID Solutions.
