The Vertical Type on a Path tool lets you add text vertically.

A vertical line of text is type on the path that the bee created.

  1. Select the Vertical Type on a Path   tool.

  2. Click anywhere on the path to type or paste your text.

  3. Double-click the Vertical Type on a Path   tool to open the Type on a Path Options dialog box. Customize the tool's  Effect, Flip, Align to Path, and Spacing settings.
