What is Adobe Experience Manager Sites Optimizer ("AEM Sites Optimizer")? 

AEM Sites Optimizer is an AI first solution that functions as an optimization layer to proactively anticipate and detect opportunities, and automate suggestions to optimize for delivery performance, relevance, and velocity. AEM Sites Optimizer enables Customers to optimize content-driven experiences, resulting in increased traffic acquisition, engagement, and conversion. Customers can approve and deploy optimizations directly from the application.

AEM Sites Optimizer: Product Limitations

  • Licensing. AEM Sites Optimizer must be licensed for use with AEM Sites as a Cloud Service or AEM Sites Managed Services (collectively, “AEM Sites”).
  • Content Requests. Customer may use up to the number of Content Requests authorized in the Sales Order. Customer’s licensed quantity of Content Requests (as defined below) is based on AEM Sites usage. If Customer exceeds the sum of the Content Requests licensed during a 12-month period at any time, Customer must license additional Content Requests.
  • Concurrent Users. Customer may use the below number of Concurrent Users:
    • up to 20 Concurrent Users with AEM Sites Optimizer licensed up to 5 million Content Requests; or
    • up to 40 Concurrent Users with AEM Sites Optimizer licensed for 5 million or more Content Requests.

If Customer licenses additional Concurrent Users for AEM Sites, Customer may use an equal number of Concurrent Users in AEM Sites Optimizer.

  • Generative AI Feature. AEM Sites Optimizer is powered by Generative AI Feature(s).
     

Definitions

Concurrent Users means the number of Users logged in and active (i.e., performing at least one operation) in AEM Sites Optimizer within the same thirty-minute time period.

Content Requests means a request coming into AEM Sites as a Cloud Service or AEM Sites Managed Services or any Customer-provided caching system (e.g., content delivery network) to deliver content or data in HTML format via Page Views (e.g., pages and fragments). Content Requests are counted as a Page View, measured at the ingress of the first caching system to receive a Content Request. For the purposes of counting Content Requests, (i) Content Requests made to a headless AEM Sites deployments or Customer’s internal sites are excluded, and (ii) certain HTTP requests are included or excluded; the full list of such included and excluded HTTP requests, as well as their technical definitions, is available at: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/implementing/using-cloud-manager/content-requests.

Generative AI Feature is defined within the Specific Licensing Terms for Adobe Experience Cloud Generative Artificial Intelligence Feature, available at https://www.adobe.com/legal/terms/enterprise-licensing/genai-ww.html.

Page View means a single view of an email or web page of an internet site, including application screen views, application screen states, mobile web pages, and social network pages. Page Views occur each time a web page is loaded or refreshed, an application is loaded, or when content renders or is shown through an opened or viewed email.
