Bugs fixed in this update
- When importing a video from Vimeo, the import got stuck at 50% and would go no further. Clicking the Cancel button produced the error message, “Video encountered an internal error”.
- We've upgraded Node and Java to their latest versions, which fixed a few vulnerabilities.
- If there are overlapping buttons, the Jump to Bookmark action does not allow you to jump to previous bookmarks.
- Updated Adobe Media Encoder to version 2023.
- In some cases, after you record a system audio to a slide and then playing the file, the audio is not clear.
- Audio starts playing unexpectedly when moving to the next slide.
- After adding a video demo in a blank project and publishing the project, on viewing it, you only see a loading icon on the slide.
- The messages in Help > Access Adobe Resources did not appear properly.
- In a tab interaction, few themes are not visible when the project is previewed or published.
- A signature on a certificate widget doesn't appear in an HTML5 output.
- An updated Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF) that addresses issues related to Asset Panel, geolocation, and SCORM Cloud preview.
Known issues
Windows and macOS
- While importing flv and f4v files, an error occurs. As a workaround, use Adobe Media Encoder to convert these files into mp4, and then import them to Adobe Captivate. There may be a few MP4 files that produce errors upon importing to Adobe Captivate. In such cases, re-convert the files using Adobe Media Encoder, and then import the files in Adobe Captivate.
- Adobe Fonts don't render during live preview/preview.
macOS
- For Video Demo and Device Capture workflows, set the FPS to 30 or higher, while publishing to MP4. Not doing so will result in a slow-performing MP4.
- On the Edit Video Timeline dialog, the Preview option is disabled for each slide.
- Speech and audio management keyboard shortcuts don't work as expected. For more information, see Keyboard shortcuts.
Windows
- On previewing a video demo, a blank gray frame appears at the end of the recording. As a workaround, trim off the last frame of the video, and publish the recording.
