Typekit is available to Creative Cloud for enterprise customers. If you’re already a Creative Cloud for enterprise subscriber, please contact your Adobe enterprise sales representative for more information. You can also consult this Creative Cloud for enterprise help document.

What Typekit functionality is included in Creative Cloud for enterprise?

Each Creative Cloud for enterprise customer receives a Typekit subscription that is equivalent to the Typekit Portfolio plan:

  • Access to the full Typekit library of over 1000 fonts for sync use and 4200 fonts for web use
  • Sync up to 100 simultaneous fonts
  • Up to 500,000 web font pageviews/month

Each Creative Cloud for enterprise user is subject to these usage limits. Entitlements for usage in excess of these limits requires an additional payment.

What usage rights are provided to customers who use Typekit through Creative Cloud for enterprise?

Creative Cloud for enterprise customers get exactly the same rights as other Typekit customers, described here: Typekit font licensing.

This includes the right to fonts synced from Typekit in your work in print, digital, video, broadcast, and manufacturing applications.

If you are an agency, and you plan to use Typekit web fonts in websites you make for your clients, this is considered “reselling” Typekit. Reselling Typekit is permitted, but the Typekit Terms of Use describes our right to limit how you resell Typekit to your customers. Please contact support@typekit.com if you have any questions about reselling Typekit.

Will I use the Creative Cloud Packager to package and install Typekit for my users?

No, Typekit font selections are not set up by the Creative Cloud Packager. Your users will need to sign in to the Typekit website to select the fonts they would like to use. The fonts are then synced to each user's computer via the Creative Cloud desktop application.

Can I sync fonts without running the Creative Cloud desktop application?

No. Fonts can only be synced via the Creative Cloud desktop application. There is no alternative method of deploying fonts from Typekit to enterprise desktops at this time.

Can I use web fonts without running the Creative Cloud desktop application?

Yes. Adding fonts from Typekit to your website doesn’t depend on the Creative Cloud application.

Unfortunately there is no mechanism for moving kits between accounts at this time.

What is the cost for usage in excess of the 500k pageview web font limit provided by Creative Cloud for enterprise?

Typekit offers licensing and implementation options for high-volume web font serving in many locales. Please contact support@typekit.com to see what options are available in your region.

What is the cost for usage in excess of the 100 simultaneous synced font limit?

Pricing depends on the number of users and the volume of usage; please contact your Adobe Enterprise sales representative or support@typekit.com for more information.

What font publishing uses does the Typekit license for Creative Cloud for enterprise cover?

Creative Cloud for enterprise customers get exactly the same rights as other Typekit customers, described here: Typekit font licensing.

I'm seeing a message that Typekit is deactivated. What does this mean?

Account administrators can activate and deactivate individual Adobe services and applications, including Typekit, for all users in their organization. If Typekit has been deactivated on your account, you will not be able to sync fonts until the account administrator activates Typekit.
