Last updated on Oct 8, 2025

Learn about Adobe Fonts system requirements, subscription options, and access to the font library across different Adobe plans.

Fonts are added to your computer through the Creative Cloud desktop app, which is available on macOS and WindowsYou can't add desktop fonts on other operating systems, as the Creative Cloud desktop app isn't available on those platforms.

Web fonts hosted by Adobe are compatible with all browsers that support web fonts, including those on macOS, Windows, and Chrome OS, as well as most mobile browsers.

Note

To add fonts, you must be signed in to the Creative Cloud desktop app with a named-user Adobe subscription. You can't add fonts with a device or site-wide license.

As of Fall 2022, Adobe offers three different access levels for Adobe Fonts. Visit your Adobe Account page to find out which level you have. You can also refer to the subscription comparison table for a general overview of each level.
