Issue: "Renew your subscription" window appears when you launch a Creative Cloud application

When you attempt to launch an Adobe Creative Cloud application, you receive a message that says "Renew your subscription" even though your subscription is current.

Solutions

If the first solution does not work, try the second.

  1. Click the Creative Cloud icon  in the menu bar (Mac) or taskbar notification area (Windows), to open the Creative Cloud desktop app.

    Note:

If you can't find the Creative Cloud icon on your screen, you may have quit the Creative Cloud desktop app. To relaunch it:

Windows: Type Creative Cloud in Search next to the Windows logo in the lower-left corner of the screen.

Mac: Click the Finder icon in the Dock, and then search for Creative Cloud.app.

  2. Depending on your version of the Creative Cloud desktop app, you get one of the following screens. Click the profile icon in the upper-right corner of the app and then click Sign out

Sign out from Creative Cloud desktop app
Sign out from Creative Cloud desktop app (Old version)
  3. Sign back in.

  1. Click "License this Software."

  2. Verify that you have an active Internet connection. For more information on verifying your Internet connection, see Sign-in, activation, or connection errors | CS5 and later.

  3. Verify that your system clock is set to the correct time.

  4. If this process fails, wait a few minutes and click the Try again button.
