Learn how to install the Library, title templates, and template projects (functional content) for Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Encore.
Functional content is missing for Adobe Premiere Pro and Encore
- When you try to access the title templates in Adobe Premiere Pro or CS6, the title templates are missing.
- When you try to access the template projects in After Effects or CS6, the template projects are missing.
- When you access the Library panel in Adobe Encore CS6, the panel contains no content. Also, there is no subfolder named Library within the Adobe Encore application folder on your hard disk.
Solution for Adobe Premiere Pro and Encore: Install the CS6 functional content
Adobe Premiere Pro CS6: See the installation instructions to install the title templates for Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.
Adobe Premiere Pro: Install Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, if it is not already installed. Then, see installation instructions to install title templates for Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. After installation to CS6, copy the presets to Adobe Premiere Pro.
There is no functional content specifically for Adobe Premiere Pro, but you can use CS6 templates in Premiere Pro. Copy the templates from Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 to Adobe Premiere Pro.

Choose to install Encore, or Adobe Premiere Pro functional content, or both packages as per requirement. Open the folder for each package and locate the installer.

To begin the installation process, run Install.app.
After installing the functional content available in the first package, the installer ejects the disk image. Remount the disk image and run the second installer.

If you are using Adobe Premiere Pro CC, copy the folders from Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 > Presets folder and paste them into the Adobe Premiere Pro CC (version) > Presets folder.

Select Finder > Premiere Pro CS6 Application > Presets folder.

Select and copy the following folders:
Applications/Premiere Pro CS6/Presets/Styles
Applications/Premiere Pro CS6/Presets/Templates
Applications/Premiere Pro CS6/Presets/Textures

Paste the three folders into the Adobe Premiere Pro CC Presets folder.

If you had installed the previous functional content packages, Templates and Textures folders may be present in the Program Files > Adobe > Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 > Presets folder. Delete these folders before installing.

Extract the contents of the downloaded zip file to a convenient location (for example, the Desktop).

To create install folders for the Encore and Adobe Premiere functional content installers, run the .exe file.

Navigate to the folder for the content you want to install and run the installer.

If you are using Adobe Premiere Pro CC, copy the folders from the Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 > Presets folder and then paste them into the Adobe Premiere Pro CC > Presets folder.

Select C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS6\Presets.

Select and copy the following folders:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS6\Presets\Styles
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS6\Presets\Templates
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS6\Presets\Textures

- Open Adobe Premiere Pro CC folder and select Show Package Contents.
- Copy all the three folders mentioned above to the Adobe Premiere Pro CC > Presets folder location.
- Ensure that the file path is correct and points to the latest version.

After Effects template projects can be downloaded from the Adobe Add-ons location.
Solution for Electronic Software Delivery (ESD) customers only
Download and install functional content for Encore, After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Note: Skip steps 1-6 if you have already downloaded functional content for Encore, After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro.

In a web browser, go to your Adobe ID account.

Sign in with your Adobe ID and password.

Click View Order History.

Look at the row with your order number and click Download.

On the download page, look at the row with the description for function content. For example, for CS5, look for “Adobe Premiere Pro CS5: Download contains additional ReadMe files plus content (menus, buttons, and backgrounds) for Adobe Encore CS5.”

Download this content using Akamai Download Manager or Alternate Download Method.

Close Encore and Adobe Premiere Pro.

On macOS, double-click the downloaded.dmg file.
Select Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 Content disk image > Encore Functional Content folder and double-click Setup.

On Windows, perform the following steps:
- Select the folder where you downloaded the files from the download page. For example, Desktop > Premiere.
- Double-click PremierePro_5_Content_LS7.exe. The installation files are extracted to a folder named Adobe CS5. For example, Desktop > Adobe CS5.
- Select the Adobe CS5 > Premiere Pro Family Content Installers > Adobe Encore CS5 Functional Content folder.
- To start installation, double-click Set-up.exe.
- To complete installation, follow the instructions.

Download the extra library content
Choose your language to begin the download:
Extract the Library content to the Library folder

Extract the zip file that you downloaded to create a .7z file (for example, en-US.7z).

Extract the .7z file to a desired location on your computer. You can see a folder that gets created based on the selected language.
Note:- Download 7-zip for Windows.
- Download Unarchiver for macOS.

Copy the contents of the language folder (for example, en-US) to the following location:
- Windows: C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Encore CS6/
- macOS: Applications/Adobe Encore CS6/

If you choose a custom library folder location instead of the default location, launch Adobe Encore and browse to the custom library folder location:
- Windows: Edit > Preferences > Media
- macOS: Encore > Preferences > Media
