Update Creative Cloud apps

The Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application notifies you whenever one of your installed apps has an update available. Update your apps to gain immediate access to new features, performance improvements, and bug fixes. Here’s how.

  1. You can find notifications for app updates on your computer's desktop. The notification appears above the Creative Cloud desktop app icon in the taskbar (Windows) or below the icon in the Apple menu bar (Mac OS). 

  2. Open the Creative Cloud desktop application by clicking the Creative Cloud icon .

    The Creative Cloud desktop app displays all available updates. If there are no updates listed, click the three vertical dots icon in the upper-right corner, and then choose Check for App Updates from the pop-up menu. 

  3. Find the app you want to update and click Update.

    To update all apps at once, click Update All.

    The apps will download and update automatically.
