Use quick prompts to generate text

Quick prompts are predefined, one-click AI instructions built directly into Adobe Captivate. They allow authors to instantly apply the most common text refinements like rephrasing, improving readability, or fixing grammar without needing to type or customize a prompt.

With seven built-in prompt types, authors can quickly apply the most common refinements with a single click or utilize the space provided to add additional prompts for better context and requirements. 

Here are the seven quick prompts and their uses:

The Rephrase text quick prompt helps you refine existing slide content while maintaining its original meaning. Instead of creating content from scratch, make adjustments to sentence structure, tone, and clarity. Whether simplifying a sentence, making it sound more natural, or ensuring consistency in your project's voice, Rephrase text serves as an efficient editing tool within your authoring workflow. 

  1. Select the text object on the slide.

  2. You can access the Generate text feature in two ways:

    • From the top menu: Generative AI > Generate text.
    • From the Visual properties panel when a text object is selected.

  3. Select Rephrase text from the suggested actions.

    • Direct rephrase (one-click): The selected text will be rephrased instantly without adding extra instructions.
    • Rephrase with additional context: Select Rephrase text and then add more detail in the prompt window (e.g., “Rephrase to highlight ergonomics and stress management at the workplace”). This lets you guide the AI to rephrase with a specific focus or tone.
