Sharing your designs and creative work with your teammates and stakeholders just became easier with Photoshop.
Introduced in Photoshop 24.0 (October 2022 release), you'll see a big blue Share button in your Photoshop workspace that gives you the following collaboration options — Invite to edit and Share for review (Beta).
The Invite to edit feature in Photoshop allows asynchronous editing where each collaborator can edit a shared cloud document, one at a time.
The Share for review (Beta) feature allows you to work on both local or cloud documents and create a shareable review link of the web version of your document. You can share this document link with teammates and stakeholders to collect feedback.
Follow these steps to generate a review link:
If the document you're working with isn't in a native Photoshop file format, you'll see a Wait! Save before sharing dialog open.
In the Share for review (Beta) panel that opens, you can type a suitable name for your document link and control who can access the generated link.
Select Create link button to generate the link.
Select the three-dots icon to view More options and perform the desired action:
You'll also see an Update content option that lets you sync your document edits and be ready to share again.
Also, you can use the Invite people option to add the names or email addresses of your collaborators for reviewing your documents.
If the blue Share button is distracting you while working on your projects, you can choose to set a neutral color scheme for Photoshop UI elements. To learn more, see Preferences to set a neutral color scheme.
To review a document, follow the shared link and then sign in with your Adobe ID. As you open the link, you're taken to the Creative Cloud website, where you can see the comments panel. Select the comment icon on the upper-right corner to collapse the comments panel anytime.
In the Comments panel, you can write new comments, as well as respond to, resolve, or delete existing ones and view comments from other collaborators. You can use pins and annotations in the review document and also add emojis in your comments. If the shared link is limited only to invited people as desired by the owner of the review link, then only those invited can add their comments.
You can also view or add comments to the shared review document from within the Photoshop app. Simply navigate to Window > Comments to open the Comments panel. Type your comments in the Add a comment... box and revisit comments from fellow collaborators whenever you want.
If you decide to delete a comment, all replies to the original comment will get deleted as well, and this action cannot be undone.
Also, you can view and add comments only on the latest review link in the in-app Comments panel. However, you can view and add comments on all review links on the Creative Cloud website.
