Permanently delete files

Learn how to delete files from the cloud storage using the Creative Cloud desktop app and Adobe Home.

Deleted files are stored for 30 days and will continue to consume space until permanently deleted. However, you can delete them any time before the 30-day period to free up some storage space.

Delete files from your Creative Cloud storage in a few simple steps.

Select Files > Deleted .

Hover over the file that you want to delete and select the checkbox, and then select Delete permanently .

The blue ribbon, that appears at the bottom when you select your files in the Deleted tab, provides the option to delete your cloud documents permanently.
You can select and delete multiple cloud documents permanently at once.

Tip

You can also select the checkbox on a file and then select Delete permanently   on the blue ribbon.

In the Delete permanently dialog box, select Delete permanently.

The confirmation dialog box, that appears when you permanently delete a file, provides the option to confirm your action.
Once permanently deleted, you can't restore your cloud documents.

Note

You cannot restore files once permanently deleted.
