Update is stuck
Your update may be stuck; retry the update by selecting Retry on the update dialog box.
Device has a temporary glitch
A glitch on your device may cause an update failure. Follow these steps to resolve this issue:
Install a new version of the Creative Cloud desktop app.
Mac computer lacks temporary folder permissions
Check the temporary folder permissions on your Mac computer.
Press Command + Spacebar to open Spotlight Search and type Terminal.
Open Terminal and run the command:
ls - ld /tmp
If the result reads lrwxrwxrwt, specifically if the last letter is t, run the command:
sudo chmod -h -t /tmp
Select Retry to update the app again.
