September 2026 release (version 18.7)

Feature updates

• Cull and compare large shoots faster with the new Grid view. Grid view lays out your photos as a 2D grid of thumbnails instead of showing them one at a time, so you can spot the shots you want, rate them, and select multiple photos at once. 
• Get a consistent look across a shoot with the new Match exposure feature. Match Exposure by Camera Settings reads each photo's capture metadata to normalize exposure across your selection, so you don't have to adjust every photo manually. Match Exposure by Camera Settings & Light goes a step further and also compensates for light that changes between shots, making it ideal for a timelapse through a sunrise or sunset.
• Find the photos you want faster with multi-select color-label filtering. You can now select multiple color labels at once in the filter bar, showing red and yellow together instead of filtering one color at a time. No color label is also available in the same filter, so you can include or exclude unlabeled photos.
• Keep your Histogram and Vectorscope wherever they're most useful with the new floating panel. Detach them into a resizable panel, move them to a second monitor, or keep them out of the way of your edit panels. Drag the panel back over its original spot whenever you want it docked again.
• Get cleaner results from Reflection Removal, even on tricky surfaces. Erase reflections from windows, glass, and water without lingering smudges or ghosting.
• Enhance photos shot with newly added Apple, Canon, Google, and OM Digital Solutions camera models and Apple, Laowa, Leica, Sigma, and Sony lenses in Camera Raw.

August 2026 release (version 18.6)

Feature updates

• Add a soft, luminous quality to your photos with the new Glow feature in the Effects panel. Glow spreads light from the brightest areas of your image into surrounding tones, creating everything from a subtle haze to a strong cinematic bloom. You can also apply Glow selectively using masks for precise, local control.
• The new Trim feature in the Crop & Expand panel lets you reduce an image to the exact area you've cropped, making everything outside the crop transparent rather than retaining it as hidden pixels. The result is a clean cutout you can layer into composites or export with transparency.
• A new Metadata Info Panel gives you a quick, read-only summary of key details about the selected photo without leaving the Adobe Camera Raw workspace. 

August 2026 release (version 18.5)

Feature updates

• Remove skin blemishes, moles, freckles, and other marks with the AI-powered Blemishes option. You can adjust the Amount and Fade sliders to control how prominent each element appears, and then fine-tune individual spots to remove or restore them.
• Turn the features that use Generative AI on or off from the Adobe Camera Raw Preferences dialog box. You can now turn features like Generative Remove, Generative Expand, and Distraction People Removal off if you prefer to work without generative AI features.
• Modify Vectorscope with the Show Red at 3 o'clock option to rotate the scope so red aligns to a more familiar reference point, similar to the scopes displayed in video editor apps. Also, the Vectorscope now displays precise Lab color values alongside the scope for exact numeric color readings.
• Save photos as rendered DNG files with all current edits permanently applied using the Render to DNG option, giving you a non-raw file to build on when you want a clean starting point. Right-click your photo, and then select Render to DNG to create a rendered DNG file.  It's helpful for Generative Expand workflows when expanding from existing crop bounds rather than the original frame.
• Enhance photos shot with newly added GoPro camera models and GoPro, Laowa, and SIGMA lenses in Camera Raw.

July 2026 release (version 18.4.1)

Feature updates

• Use Generative Expand to extend your photo and fill empty or transparent areas with content that matches the original photo.
• Review and present your photos using the Full screen presentation   option and easily navigate through photos with the arrow keys. You can also right-click the photo in presentation mode and access options to customize the background color and presentation layout, and view the photo information.
• View the autofocus points of your camera as an overlay on the photo preview for supported Canon, Nikon, and Sony raw files, helping you understand focus at capture time without affecting your edits or the file's metadata. Access the Show Autofocus Points option from the context menu as you right-click the photo in the preview or press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + O (Windows) or Command + Option + Shift + O (macOS).
• Enhance photos from the latest lenses in Camera Raw.
