Issue
After you install Adobe Acrobat X on Windows, the PDFMaker ribbon doesn't appear. You are using Microsoft Office 2010 x64 (64 bit) with Acrobat X.
Solution
Acrobat 10.1 provides PDFMaker support for Office 2010 64-bit. Download and install the Acrobat 10.1 patch. To install the patch, start Acrobat and select Help > Check for Updates. Alternatively, you can download the Acrobat 10.1 patch directly from www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp.
Additional information
For the Acrobat 10.1 release, the Adobe engineering team developed a 64-bit PDFMaker add-in. PDFMaker features are available for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 2010 (64-bit). If any Microsoft Office applications were open at the time of installation, restart them for the PDFMaker ribbon to appear.
Microsoft Vista users: If you installed Acrobat 10.1 before installing Office 2010 (x64), repair the Acrobat installation to enable the PDFMaker ribbon. Choose Help > Repair Acrobat Installation.
