Overview

You can review either in a browser or in Acrobat DC or Acrobat Reader DC.   

If you want to review in Acrobat DC or Acrobat Reader DC, use the Review in Acrobat feature that's displayed in the upper-right corner of the browser window.

If you have the latest version of Acrobat DC installed on your computer, you see a browser prompt that lets you open Adobe Acrobat DC. After you confirm by clicking Open in Adobe Acrobat DC, the Acrobat application is launched and the document is downloaded for you to review.

If you don't have the latest version of Acrobat DC installed on your computer, you can choose one of the following options displayed in the browser prompt:

  • Get Adobe Reader DC: Download & install the free Adobe PDF reader application, and use it for review.
  • Close: To continue using the browser for review.

FAQ

The review service is supported in the latest version of Acrobat DC.

In Acrobat, click the Help menu and then choose About Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. The About Information box is displayed that shows the product name and its version.
