A Typekit Portfolio plan is included with your full Creative Cloud subscription. You can use Typekit fonts that have been synced to your computer, including those you have purchased from Typekit Marketplace. The fonts appear alongside other locally installed fonts. However, you can now use an option to view only the Typekit fonts in the Fonts list. This makes it easier to work with your favorite Typekit-based fonts.
For more information, see Sync Fonts.
Do one of the following:
You are taken to the Typekit website. You can now select fonts and then initiate sync. The Creative Cloud desktop app initiates the process of syncing the fonts to your system.
The fonts now appear in all the menus where fonts are listed.
Browse to the Control strip or Character panel > Font Family drop-down.
Click the Apply Typekit Filter icon ().
When InDesign doesn’t find one or more fonts used in your opened document, it searches for missing fonts on the Typekit website. If the fonts are available on Typekit, InDesign enables checkboxes next to the fonts name in the Missing Fonts dialog box. You can now sync those fonts from Typekit.
Click Sync Fonts. It takes less than a minute or two to sync those fonts from Typekit. An appropriate message is displayed in the dialog box.
If you want to sync the fonts later, you can do so from the Find Font dialog box. While your document is opened, choose Find Font on the Type menu and then click Sync Fonts.
