Premiere on Android is available through the Google Play Store. To download and install the app, visit the Google Play Store on your device.
Premiere is available as a free Android app. Everything you need to create great video content is available for free.
Generative AI features require the purchase and use of Firefly generative credits. Only pay when you need more storage or generative AI credits.
Anyone who downloads Premiere on Android can start creating right away — no Adobe account or login is required to edit, save projects locally, or export video. However, some features and assets do require sign-in:
- To unlock access to free Stock music.
- To use Generative AI features and the purchase or use of Firefly generative credits.

Premiere on Android is a dedicated video editing app, while Adobe Firefly focuses on generative AI for creating and transforming creative content. Premiere provides a complete video editing workflow that lets you edit clips, add effects and transitions, and work with audio.

The app uses media saved via the Photos and Files apps. So you may access cloud media through services like iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. You may also package and send your projects and media using Adobe Cloud Storage to continue editing with Premiere on your desktop or laptop.
If you have Adobe Cloud Storage, ensure you have an Adobe account with cloud storage enabled. This is essential for transferring your projects and media. Send your projects or media from Premiere on iPhone. Open Premiere on your desktop and sign in with the same Adobe account you used on mobile. Navigate to the Creative Cloud panel, locate your transferred projects and media in the cloud section, and download them to begin editing.
If you are a new user you can download Premiere from the Creative Cloud website. If prompted, sign in to your Adobe account, then click either Download or Install for your app. For more information, see Download your Creative Cloud apps.
