The December 2023 (24.1) release includes dedicated 3D-related features, refreshed animation presets, and user-requested workflow improvements that enable you to work more efficiently in After Effects and design even the finest details without compromising your creative vision.
Upgrade to the latest version of After Effects
Upgrading to the latest version of After Effects automatically uninstalls previous versions of After Effects. However, preferences and settings from previous versions are migrated when updating to the latest version of After Effects.
You can choose to retain older versions of After Effects. To do so, follow the steps below:
