How to get paid

Find out how to request payment on Adobe Stock.

Once you’ve accrued more than US$25 in royalties on Adobe Stock, you can request a payout as long as the following criteria is met:

  • You've got a validated tax form on file in your account.

  • At least 45 days have passed since your first Adobe Stock sale. (You can make subsequent payment requests when you reach the US$25 threshold again).

  • You've got a valid PayPal, Payoneer, or Skrill account available to receive funds.

Payment accounts and currency information.

You can set up an account as part of the payment request process. Payoneer is only available for Contributors outside the United States. See the Payoneer FAQ for information on how to set up your account.

As of March 1, 2023, all Adobe Stock contributor accounts are paid in US dollars regardless of where you are in the world. The currency for contributor accounts cannot be changed.

Adobe uses credits to calculate the royalties with 1 credit = 1 USD.

Note, if you use PayPal in Japan, you need a Premium account to receive funds.

In Indonesia, South Africa, South Korea, and Turkey, you need a Payoneer account to receive funds.

Follow these steps to request payment:

  1. In the upper right corner of the Contributor portal, see your total available balance. Select the total, and you're taken to the Insights page.

  2. If you have earned a minimum of $25, the Payout button will be activated.

  3. Click Payout and choose PayPal, Payoneer, or Skrill.

  4. Type in the email address that's associated with your payment provider account. (Your email must be valid or your payment request will be declined.)

Payments are processed in the order that they’re received, and they’re completed within 7 to 10 business days.

Tax note: If you don't upload a tax form in the Contributor Account section of the Contributor portal, everything you sell will be taxed at the maximum rate of 30%, depending on your country of residence.

Contributors in Russia, Belarus

Impact of new sanctions, export controls, and embargoes

If you're a contributor from Russia or Belarus, it's possible that you'll experience issues when attempting to move funds from your connected PayPal, Payoneer, or Skrill account (“third-party payment providers”) to your bank account due to new government-imposed sanctions, export controls and embargoes that have been or may be imposed against institutions and individuals in these countries.

As described here, Contributors can request payment through multiple third-party payment providers. However, Adobe does not control the payment policies of these third-party payment providers.

It is possible that these third-party payment providers have been, or will be, required by government-imposed sanctions, export controls or embargoes to prevent the transfer of your funds to your local bank (for example, if your bank becomes a sanctioned entity or you reside in an embargoed region).

If you experience issues with moving funds to your third-party payment provider (for example, the funds have not appeared in your third-party payment provider account within two weeks after you requested your payout) or from moving funds from your third-party provider to your bank account, please contact your third party payment provider’s customer support team to discuss. For reference, here are support pages for the third-party payment providers: PayPal, Payoneer, and Skrill.

Update as of November 30, 2022: If you are a contributor located in Russia, the payment providers PayPal and Payoneer have ceased regional operations due to government-imposed sanctions or other restrictions. Contributors with an existing Skrill account can continue to receive payments, but Skrill will not accept new accounts in Russia. If you have moved and now reside outside Russia, you can connect your Adobe Stock account with a different Payoneer account. To do so please contact Contributor Support to disconnect the previous Payoneer account from your Adobe Stock account.

For contributors in Belarus, Skrill and Payoneer remain options to receive payouts.

Adobe provides this information as a courtesy to contributors. For the latest information, please visit support pages for the third-party payment providers: PayPal, Payoneer, and Skrill.

Adobe Stock monitors all payouts to verify that the funds have been successfully moved to your third-party payment account. In the event the payout is rejected by the third-party payment provider, Adobe will move the funds back to your Adobe Stock contributor account. Due to current events, you may experience longer times than normal for the funds to move back into your Adobe Stock contributor account.

You can contact Contributor Support to request a cancellation of the payout request. Please note, if a payout was already received and accepted by the third-party payment provider, it cannot be canceled.

You may be able to choose another third-party payment provider when you request a payout. Learn more.
