Download the Digital Editions installer, and then open and run the downloaded file. Get help installing Digital Editions on Windows and Mac OS.
Sign in to your Adobe accounts page with your current Adobe ID and password. From there, click the Security & Privacy tab, and then click Change under Password. For more information on changing your password and other account information, see Manage your Adobe ID account.
You can activate Digital Editions on six computers or mobile devices with one Adobe ID. If you reach the limit, contact us to reset your activations. For more information about activation and content portability, see Adobe Digital Editions FAQ.
First, choose Library > Authorize Computer to make sure the Adobe ID used to authorize Digital Editions is correct. If it is correct, contact the eBook provider to reset the activation. See this troubleshooting guide for more information.
You can activate Digital Editions on six devices. If you switch machines or devices, you may get this error when you try to launch Digital Editions. See Authorization and launch errors for Adobe Digital Editions 4.0 on Windows.
