You can add background blur to objects, or images on an artboard to emphasize, or de-emphasize parts of the object in the following ways:
When you add background blur to objects, the changes are non-destructive, and you can recover the original object or image that was blurred.
Draw a shape over the portion of the image, object, or area that you want to blur.
Select Background Blur in the Property Inspector.
Adjust the following sliders to control the background blur:
To show or hide the blur, select or deselect the check box next to Background Blur.
To remove the blur, simply select the object (blur mask) and delete it.
Select the object or image to which you want to add background blur.
Select Object Blur in the Property Inspector.
Adjust the slider to control the extent of the blur.
To show or hide the blur, select or deselect the check box next to Object Blur.
