Copy image areas using the Clone tool

Select a photo to open it in Detail view.

In the Edit panel, select Remove .

In the Remove panel, select Remove to open the tool options, and then select Clone .

Adjust Brush Size slider to match your brush diameter to the area you want to clone.

Brush over the area you want to replace in your photo.

Observe the two white marquee areas that appear:

• Target area: Solid lines indicate the target area you want to remove.
• Source area: Dashed lines indicate the source area Lightroom will copy from.

In the Refine clone panel, select the following options, and then select Done to save changes:

• Adjust Feather to control the soft-edged transition between the cloned area and surrounding pixels.
• Adjust Opacity to control the transparency of the cloned content.
• Select Restore to undo the selection and start over.

Select the Done icon to save your edits.

Select a photo to open it in Detail view.
